Run 'N' Tell That

I'm a Blackberry user. I love my Blackberry. It goes everywhere with me.

I love the Torch. It's sleek and dare I say sexy.

But why? Why is AT&T the only service that carries the Torch? No fair! I dream of a world where there are no prejudices; no barriers; where Blackberry owners can own each and every Blackberry on the carrier of their choice.

Man get that AT&T logo out of my face!

The Mark Twain In Me

Hello. It has been a while. Yes, I fell off the bandwagon, but I am back now.

So, it's no secret that I like to write. I even took a writing course this summer; that's how dedicated I am to it. Though I am a confident writer, I go through my days where I feel like my writing is complete crap. Today is not quite one of those days, but this writing analysis program that compares your writing to a famous author's still made me feel happy. I'm gonna be classic bitches!

I write like

Family Excursions

I just spent the last part of yesterday and the early part of today with my friend's family. There is nothing better than being with people who genuinely care about each other. I don't think I could ever turn down a chance to hang out with a family even if it's not my own. All the different personalities, the family secrets, the reminiscing, I could never pass it up. I have yet to find a family who didn't have a member that makes me think of one of my own family members and I have yet to leave anyone's family gathering feeling un-accepted and unloved. That's what I love about families - THERE'S LOVE EVERYWHERE! And, there was no difference last night/this morning. These recent festivities got me thinking about how awesome of a family I have. It also got me thinking about how the people who I consider to be part of my family are, for the most part, not actually related to me, but I love them just the same. Heck, I'd die for some of those buggers. It's all about the love man. It's a connector.

Feeding off that thought, a great show about the whole family/friends as family dynamic is How to Make It In America. I can't help but promote this show; it's hella realistic in depicting the lives of people just doing what they have to do to live life. Anyone can relate. HTMIIA's got a fun cast and a kind of honest indie look to it that I wasn't too sure about in the beginning but actually really works. Check it out on HBO.

Not Your Mother's Lace

I'm sooo happy that lace is back in style. It's the perfect material to make an outfit more sophisticated or to slut it up. My most recent lace purchase...

New Rapper Hails from the Home of the Game's Greatests

Nothing gets me more excited than a talented rapper from my hometown so.... Meet D-Why. The up-and-comer is certainly one to look out for. He's the total package: sick lyrics over catchy beats. Besides, who doesn't love a man who samples "Careless Whisper" or, for that matter, a Brooklyn boy?

Let's Get Particular...

Stumpleupon.com is my newest time-waster, rivaled only by facebook, but it's finds like this that make me praise the heavens that sites like these exist.

Check out this video of homeless man, Daniel Mustard's interpretation of Radiohead's "Creep"...

Mustard sings Creep from Rex Kramer on Vimeo.

Although there is some uncertainty as to whether the man is actually homeless or not, does it really matter when his voice perfectly expresses the raw sentiment of the song?

This video put me back in 90's mode. Time to dig out the Nirvana and Radiohead for a second, or millionth, listen.

Breaking the Seal

This is the first post of soon to be many... I think... if I remember to post often.... If you haven't already guessed, I am a novice to the popular world of blogging so I hope that you will bear with me.

Let me start again.

Welcome!

The primary intent of this blog is to share things with you that I find interesting, beautiful and/or are holding my attention for a surprisingly long period of time - this includes random things that are going on in my life that excite me. In essence, you can expect for this blog to bring you things I find particularly (hence the title) noteworthy. For those of you who expected a blog about one's attachment to one's nation, I apologize and I gather that politics and government will not be a frequent topic of conversation here. All topics here will be light. For those of you who consider politics and government light...

I applaud you.
